Riparian Owners of Illinois Ask Legislators to Protect Property Rights

When property owners on Wooster Lake joined together with other lake property owners to form the Riparian Owners of Illinois (ROI), the bureaucrats attempting to trample their property rights with a no-wake ordinance backed off.

Now, the ROI is continuing to work together to ensure that their property rights will be protected against any future shenanigans by local governments. They are asking Illinois legislators to support House Bill 3441, which will make it clear that municipalities cannot enforce restrictions on private property outside municipal boundaries—and you can help, too.
