One thing about toddler Mikolaj Sobolewski: He sure shows initiative.The three-year-old Polish boy unlocked the front door to his home by himself, took the bus to the airport by himself, and apparently expected to board a plane.Police found him at the airport and returned him to his parents, who, of course, were quite relieved. Excellence in Action: A National Summit on Education Reform

On June 19-20 in Orlando, Florida, the Foundation for Excellence in Education, in partnership with the James Madison Institute, is hosting Excellence in Action, a national summit for education policymakers and agents of change who share a passion for transforming education across America.

The keynote speakers are John Stossel, Barbara Bush, and Jeb Bush. The conference will tackle many top current education issues, including: expanding school choice, improving teacher quality, raising standards, achieving accountability, and so on.
